By using PixlRun.com, you agree to these terms. They cover what the site is, what you can do with our content, and the limits of our responsibility. Plain English where possible; legal terms only where the law requires them.
1. The site, in short
PixlRun is an editorial publication covering AI tools, games, gadgets, and software alternatives. Articles, reviews, scores, and comparison data are produced by our editorial team and are intended as informed opinion, not professional advice.
2. Use of the site
You may read, link to, and quote our content with attribution. You may not:
- Republish full articles, scores, or comparison datasets without written permission
- Scrape the site at a rate that affects performance for other readers
- Use our content to train commercial AI models without a licence
- Misrepresent our editorial verdicts (e.g. quoting selectively to imply we recommend a product we panned)

3. Affiliate disclosure
PixlRun participates in the Amazon Associates program, Green Man Gaming, Fanatical, and other affiliate networks. When you click an affiliate link on the site and complete a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
This commission does not influence our editorial verdicts. We have published unfavourable reviews of products from companies whose links earn us money, and we will continue to do so. The commission is roughly the same regardless of vendor, so we have no incentive to steer you toward one over another.
Display advertising on the site is served by third-party networks (currently Ezoic). Sponsored or paid placements, when they exist, are clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Paid placement”. As of the effective date above, the site has no sponsorships.
4. Editorial accuracy and corrections
We try to be accurate. We are not always. When we make a material factual error, we publish a dated correction at the bottom of the affected piece — not silently. If you spot an error, email us and we’ll review.
Scores, prices, and specifications are accurate to the best of our knowledge at publication time. Prices change. Manufacturers issue revisions. We do not guarantee that information is current, and you should verify critical details before purchase.
5. Disclaimers
Content on PixlRun is for general informational purposes. Nothing on the site is:
- Legal, medical, financial, or tax advice
- A guarantee of product performance, durability, or compatibility
- A warranty or substitute for the manufacturer’s warranty
You use products and services at your own risk. We are not responsible for your purchasing decisions, configuration choices, or third-party service outages.
6. Comments and user content
Comments left on articles are the responsibility of the person who posted them. We moderate to remove spam, harassment, doxxing, illegal content, and content that violates third-party rights. We may remove or edit comments at our discretion. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your comment alongside the article.
7. External links
The site links to external products, services, and articles. We don’t control external sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored"; non-affiliate external links are marked with rel="noopener".
8. Intellectual property
All editorial content — articles, reviews, scores, comparison data, photography, illustrations — is © PixlRun unless explicitly attributed. Trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners. Use of a product name does not imply endorsement by that company, nor endorsement by us of that company.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PixlRun, its editors, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid us — which, since the site is free, is zero.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 14 days and reflected in the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, BC. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
