*True cost per usable clip assumes a 3.5x retry multiplier - a user-adjustable assumption, not a vendor fact (practitioner reports put the real range at 3-10 attempts per keeper). Open the full calculator to change the retry rate, clip length or resolution.

Honest sourcing

Kling AI and Wan (Alibaba) are marked Est. because neither publishes a fully public, first-party per-second rate card: Kling's kling.ai/dev console sits behind account login, and Alibaba's own Model Studio pricing disagrees by roughly 2x with its own reseller network. Hailuo/MiniMax's per-clip figures are corroborated by a secondary aggregator, not a first-party rate we could directly confirm. Pika has no per-second API price sheet at all - its $/sec is derived from the cheapest subscription tier's credit cost. Every one of these is disclosed in full, with sources, on that tool's own /cost/ page.
