BET+ is closing. Your shows are moving, not disappearing.
Paramount Skydance announced on March 13, 2026 that it bought out the Tyler Perry Studios stake in BET+ and would shut the service down, moving over 1,000 hours of programming into a BET-branded hub on Paramount+. The service closes July 22, 2026, with some titles also landing on the free, ad-supported Pluto TV.

Pluto TV

BET cable channel
The original linear BET channel keeps running independently of BET+.

How to migrate
- Check which BET+ titles you were watching - most originals are already listed on the BET hub inside Paramount+.
- If you want to keep paying for on-demand, take the promotional discount Paramount is offering current BET+ subscribers who switch.
- If you would rather pay nothing, use Pluto TV or Tubi for the ad-supported BET-adjacent library.
- Cancel BET+ billing directly if you do not migrate - subscriptions do not auto-cancel just because the app closes.
