Paramount Skydance announced on March 13, 2026 that it bought out the Tyler Perry Studios stake in BET+ and would shut the service down, moving over 1,000 hours of programming into a BET-branded hub on Paramount+. The service closes July 22, 2026, with some titles also landing on the free, ad-supported Pluto TV.

Check which BET+ titles you were watching - most originals are already listed on the BET hub inside Paramount+.
If you want to keep paying for on-demand, take the promotional discount Paramount is offering current BET+ subscribers who switch.

Cancel BET+ billing directly if you do not migrate - subscriptions do not auto-cancel just because the app closes.
