Gamma’s card-based layout is fundamentally web-native. When you export to PPTX, the platform performs an imperfect translation from CSS-based layout to PowerPoint’s grid model. Custom fonts substitute to defaults. Multi-column layouts sometimes collapse to single-column. Gamma’s motion effects (subtle card animations added in January 2026) disappear entirely on export — PowerPoint can’t interpret them.
